Foundation Course in Beijing from September 2008
VIA University College in co-operation with the UK/Denmark Department of Overseas Study Center, Beijing International Studies University is offering a Foundation Course for students who wish to study in Denmark. This Foundation Course is tailor-made for Chinese students, and prepares students for European study techniques.
The aim of the course is to give students a general knowledge of Western culture, an introduction to university study skills and improving students’ ability of using English as a study language.
Course Objectives
· To build your confidence in your English communication skills for academic and social life · To extend and strengthen your academic and practical skills relevant to the study programmes · To develop your proficiency in academic working methods · Information Technology · Cross Culture There will be evaluations and tests during the semester and a final examination will be held at the end of the course. Successful completion of the Foundation Course will give you access to a place in one of VIA University College international programmes. The Foundation Course commences on 8. September 2008 and the duration is 17 weeks.
